COMBO Solutions began as an idea long before it became a company.
C.O.M.B.O., the Coalition of Minority Business Owners, was founded by Everett d. Browning Sr. to bring minority and local business owners, community leaders, and public officials together around one purpose: creating economic opportunity for communities too often left outside the path of growth, which is why the name still carries a capital "C" for Coalition.
At the center of that work was a simple belief: when investment enters a community, the opportunity it creates should reach the people and businesses already rooted there. The discipline behind COMBO came from a different world entirely, forged over two decades of Everett's U.S. Navy service and federal intelligence and cyber program leadership supporting the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command, where a missed control wasn't a delay. It carried real consequences.
Bringing those two worlds together, a coalition grounded in economic opportunity and a career built on federal-grade program discipline, is the origin of COMBO Solutions, and that same standard travels with every project we take on today, whether it's in Maryland or across the country.
